Roles & Responsibilities

As a Junior Associate in our Banking and Finance Law team you will work together with a team of dedicated lawyers to assist clients with legal issues related to:

  • financial services regulations
  • general lending: asset finance, syndicated lending, acquisition finance,debt capital markets
  • public finance
  • project finance
  • real estate finance
  • structured finance and securitizations
  • debt restructuring and insolvency

You will be involved in a broad range of projects and provide a wide scope of legal services to our national and international clients such as providing ad hoc advice, drafting legal memorandums, assisting in license application files, etc.

 

You will attend meetings with clients and maintain strong relationships with them.

Skills & Qualifications

  • You (will soon) hold a master degree in law with a focus on economic law.
  • An additional qualification or an international experience is an asset.
  • You have a keen interest in banking and finance law.
  • A first professional experience in a law firm (e.g. an internship) is an asset.
  • You speak Dutch or French and are fluent in English.
  • You are eager to learn and you have the ambition to excel in this legal field.
  • You have strong analytical and writing skills.
  • You are a real team player.
